Simit is a turkish bagel.

But it is much easier to make then a bagel, because no boiling of the dough is required.

It is also not so hard and chewy as a bagel, but a bit more soft and tasty.

Dipped in pekmez( fruit molasses) before baking and rolled in sesame seeds… actually to choose a bagel over simit, someone has to experience some kind of mental, or emotional difficulties.

Quite yummy for breakfast or snack, it usually goes well with sweet jam and cheese together.
